Jake joined Capital Pacific in January 2008 as Financial Director. His responsibilities include property analysis, valuation, due diligence, accounting, underwriting and administration. Prior to joining Capital Pacific, Jake was a Vice President at Macadam Capital Partners, a Portland-based investment bank specializing in corporate strategy plans, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital-raising for a diverse set of middle market companies in the Pacific Northwest.

After graduating from the University of Michigan (’99) with both an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Accounting, Jake moved to New York City where he worked as an investment banking analyst at Bear Stearns and later in risk management with Marsh Inc. Before moving back to Portland, where he was born and raised, Jake spent three months traveling in Southeast Asia and the South Pacific with his wife, Cory. In his personal time, Jake enjoys playing tennis, pitching for his kickball team and playing fetch with his rescued mutt, Rosie.

Currently, Jake calls Southeast Portland “home,” where he and Cory reside with their newborn son, Elliot.
