Jon Paulson
Managing Director, Capital Markets
Jon joined Capital Pacific to raise equity capital for and provide capital markets counsel to operator and developer clients. He has been in the real estate development, investment, brokerage and capital-raising business since 1977. Most recently he was a Managing Partner with the Palmer Team focusing on expanding that team’s institutional investment property sales activities.
Since 1980, when Jon moved his business from Boston to San Francisco, he has been a senior executive and/or Managing Partner with L.J. Melody & Co., Property First, Inc., Marcus & Millichap, CB Commercial, Boston Capital Resources, Inc. and Stanfill Paulson & Co. He has completed debt and equity financing and investment property sales transactions totaling more than $3 billion.
Jon received his B.S. from Rutgers College in 1964 and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1974. He was a Marine Platoon Commander in Vietnam in 1965 and 1966.
