John began his career working in the telecommunications business during the dot-com heyday in sales and contract negotiations at Pacific Gateway Exchange, a publicly traded company. Following that, he worked at Altshuler Berzon, LLP, a San Francisco based law firm. In 2003, John joined Arroyo & Coates, where he managed a large portfolio of shopping centers and apartment buildings, and coordinated disposition and acquisition efforts. From there, he moved to Marcus & Millichap, where he was the top producing new agent in the San Francisco office (the # 2 office in the country, with over $1 Billion in annual sales).
At Capital Pacific John continues to make meaningful, productive connections between merchant builders and investors in the single tenant and shopping center retail niche. This approach has allowed John to develop an impressive track record of business across the US.
John graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor?s of Science in Business. He is an avid traveler who has journeyed extensively throughout the Americas, Africa, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.
