Joe has been involved in various aspects
of retail real estate for approximately 15 years . He
started with Epsteen & Associates (now Terranomics) representing
national retail chains including Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Jamba
Juice and General Nutrition Centers in site selection and lease
negotiation throughout Northern California. During five-years
with Epsteen, Joe completed more than 250 lease transactions
valued at more than $180 million.
Following Epsteen, Joe joined Atlanta-based Wolf Camera
(now Ritz Camera) as Director of Real Estate, where
he was in charge of retail store development for the
$700 million, 700-store photography chain in the Western
region of the U.S.
Most recently, Joe has been an integral part of the
development of several software companies (Vectiv,
Accruent and Siterra) that provide a suite of real
estate asset management tools to retailers such as
Best Buy, Starbucks, Dollar Tree and Rite-Aid.
Additionally, Joe is a founder of Imagespan, online
digital image marketplace servicing the creative content
needs of advertising agencies, publishing houses and
corporations.
A native New Yorker, Joe earned a liberal arts degree
from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
Joe lives in the Cole Valley neighborhood in San Francisco.
