How I Embody CP[x]

There's something very special about our culture of sharing. I pride myself on being the go to guy when it comes to net leased, however many times during our round table discussion, I will hear a point of view that has been completely overlooked and vital to my marketing position.

Not many brokers can sit down with the whole firm and discuss potential opportunities and marketing ideas on deals not listed. Having come from a large national firm, it’s something I had to adapt into my culture, and welcomed 100%.

I take an approach to this ever changing market in a much different way than most brokers. I thrive on knowing everything that is transacting in the marketplace, breaking it down in segments and positioning my listings to maximize my clients’ yields. Capital Pacific is an environment that embraces such insight, by constantly allowing me to have open dialogue when discussing market conditions. By having this kind of camaraderie and the very best research tools available, we are able to stay ahead of market trends and advise accordingly. This information sharing partnership within the office allows us to cover more ground than the traditional brokerage models, where a co-worker is actually competition.

My desire to keep tabs on the national net leased marketplace allows me to service my clients to highest level and provide real-time, deliverable pricing. With developers and franchisee’s being squeezed in all direction, a small pricing expectation conveyed by a broker could cost them the entire profit. This type of detail for each assignment has allowed me to build a loyal client base, even when I’m 2,500 miles away. I have stayed true to my net leased roots and have never looked back, when others are pulling back, we are spending more to expose our clients inventory. I am always kept on my toes, whether it's a client's inquiry or market insight, Megan is on top of it and makes sure I am too. When the market gets rough, you may find me clearing my head far out in the ocean, pretending like I actually know how to fish. However whenever in need my fix, you can find me at the trout farm with my 5 year old son, where I am sure to impress my inner angler. Of the most cherished things in my life, I have been blessed with having an understanding wife that allows me to jump on a plane within a moment’s notice to meet a potential client or put out a fire.
