How I Embody CP[x]

To me the most important pillar of CP[x], and that which is natural to who I am, is Authentic People. There is simply too much to experience in life to spend time with unauthentic people. In surrounding ourselves with authentic people at Capital Pacific, we remind ourselves of the value behind sharing that authenticity with our clients every day. Joseph Blatner is a daily reminder of how authenticity, in the rawest sense of the word, is the first step towards creating a lasting relationship. Visit Joe Blatner’s page.

Having been forged in the fire of an overheated market I have come to embrace adaptation and humility in equal parts.

My focus is simple: To help my clients achieve their needs through consistent alteration in processes and structure to thrive in the present marketplace. Simple put: I adapt and do so quickly. By constantly seeking more effective tools, skills and knowledge we have the ability to stay ahead the insurmountable external forces which change the market on a daily basis. What is even more unique is that we share this innovation with our clients.

Equally important is having a clear understanding of what my role, and that of my client, is in the relationship. To have humility in building a relationship is to express one’s intentions, abilities and expectations in total transparency at all times. Often it is my role to “gain altitude” in addressing my client’s needs or the challenges they face with an open mind to insure that we have a shared intention and clear understanding of why and how we are going to achieve success as a team.

Several years ago, in facing the greatest challenge of my life, someone shared with me the following: “You will be defined by how you handle yourself in the face of adversity, not in the fact that you are faced with adversity”. This has become my mantra in life. I define myself on a daily basis as a professional, husband, father, brother, son and friend by the manner in which I handle the various responsibilities that come with each title. How I have handled myself through adaptation and humility has been the cornerstone of the successes I have achieved in all spectrums of my life.
